The One with the Three Pennies

Well good morning my lovely fam!
"I will stay where you want me to stay dear lord"
WE GOT TRANSFER CALLS! A bit surprising... I will be staying in Tubingen! That means I could most likely finish my mission in this area! I was not sure what to think after I found out but all it took to convince me was telling Evelyn! We told her we would be staying together at the bus stop, waiting to go to church, and she literally screamed and danced in circles! It was the cutest thing on the face of the planet. We are going over to teach her and Jurgen tonight so wish us luck! I love, love, LOVE Sister Magleby so I am excited that we get to stay together!
Okay, last week I told you about a girl named Sara that I met at our street display from Romania. Well we met with her twice this week and she has had such a wonderful impact on my life. She is the humblest human being. She is struggling temporally right now so we invited her to come have lunch with us! A member took us to the local protestant church for lunch because they do a program one week out of the year where they turn their church into a cafeteria and they feed everyone that comes in and they just put donation boxes on the table so that the poor people are able to eat and only pay what they can offer. I will never forget watching Sara reach into her pocket and putting her 3 pennies into the donation box. It was a present day "widow's mite" experience. The second time we met her, we gave her a Book of Mormon in Romanian and she got tears in her eyes. She went back to Romania on Saturday and we are going to send missionaries to her house to teach her in her mother tongue!
We have started working with the Young Women since Letizia, Evelyn's daughter, is 12 and we LOVE IT! The YW's president in an RM and she is way excited to work hand in hand with us! We are going to be working a lot with the youth this transfer and helping some of the young women return!
Last P-day we went to a big Dirndl outlet store with some members from America. Sister Rhodes wanted our help finding her a dress! It was so much fun. We wore our dresses to church on Sunday!
This week I began to have a better grasp at how beautiful this mortal experience is. When things get hard or it is difficult to see the silver lining, I just have to remind myself to be grateful to be here on this beautiful planet with breath flowing in my lungs.
Life is beautiful!

Love, Sister Reay
