The One with Jürgen

Happy Tuesday Fam!
We have been going non-stop this week! Sister Magleby and I have had the opportunity to go on exchanges with several of the sister companionships in our Zone and we realized that we scheduled one of the exchanges on a day that we could not do it, SO we had to do exchanges back to back! That was an adventure because Sister Magleby and I were not together in our area for over 48 hours and we just "passed the baton" on one of the train rides! It would not have been so crazy, but Evelyn told us at the beginning of the 48 hours that she had to go to the hospital because she had tremendous abdominal pain. We worked on staying in contact with her and we contacted our Stake President (President Dobin) and asked him if he could give her a sick blessing. They have a very good relationship and she even asked him to be the one to baptize her, so we knew it would mean a lot to her if he could come! She was just expecting the Elders in our area to come so she was so excited when President Dobin walked in the door! There was such a wonderful spirit in the room and Evelyn's boyfriend, Jurgen, even came and joined us!
Jurgen is really amazing and wants to help Evelyn on her path of faith as she prepares for baptism. He has had a really hard life and has not had very much experience with God, but he is starting to open up to the idea! He was so touched that us, the Elders, and President Dobin were so concerned for Evelyn and that we wanted to come to her aid and serve her. Evelyn said that was a testimony to him that "this church brings forth good fruits".
During our Ausstellung this week, this ADORABLE, short young girl came up to our table that was filled with copies of The Book of Mormon in different languages. She looked up to me and said, "Romanian". We did not have any in Romanian Book of Mormon’s with us, so I tried telling her we could meet up again later and give one to her, and I found out very quickly that she could not speak ANY German. Her eyes were so bright though. I showed her my cell phone and she quickly handed hers over. I put my number in her phone so that we could text her using google translate. She was so happy. She just pointed to heaven, said, "Jesus Christus", and then hugged herself. We are meeting with her today!!!
Love you all!

Love, Hay Hay

Randoms:
- During our Ausstellung, it was supposed to be cold and rainy, but God surprised us with a bright sunny day!!! We were even able to take our coats off for about 45min!
- Evelyn called us the evening after she received her sick blessing and she said, "What did they put in that oil"?!?! She is doing better now.
- As a relief Society activity, we had a "Hand-Lettering Workshop" and it was exactly the de-stressor I needed!
- Guys I have been wearing pants all week
- Sister Magleby and I both got shirts in our Christmas packages that didn't fit us right, so we just switched! Reason #157 why she is my sister at heart.
