The One with Dachau

Dear Family,
Well there goes another week of missionary life! The time passes faster and faster every day and I do not want to waste any of it! I will never get this time back!
This week was better than last week as far as working with investigators! We had a great lesson with Princess! And she came to church!!! That is the hardest thing for most of our investigators because it is so far and most of them do not have that much money, but Princess and her family live about a 20 min walk from the building so we walked to pick them up Sunday morning! Last Sunday was not very good because NO ONE came to church, not even our newly baptized members so we were left with no work! But this week made up for it because we had SOOOOOO much to do! I do not know what I am going to do with myself when I get home and my main "responsibility" on Sunday is going to be to sit still and fill my cup! That will be weird.
The Munich Sisters called us this week and said that they have been teaching a man named Augistine that has a baptismal date and that he just moved into our area! We get to meet him for the first time this week!
A Woman named Birget from my last area (Singen) got baptized this week! I was there when she showed up one day at our church building. I only got to meet her twice before I was transferred, but my soul was filled with joy regardless! It was a testimony to me that we have to see the potential people have the moment we look them in their eyes. The gospel can change lives if the people are searching for the truth and have a desire to come to know their Savior Jesus Christ and their Heavenly Father.
We went to the Dachau Concentration Camp last P-day and it was pretty amazing... It blows my mind that I am actually here! I have read the name "Dachau" in many of my history books, as it was the first Concentration camp, so it was amazing to see the actual place and learn more about the history. It was very humbling, and it added a deepened layer of my understanding of all that went on during that time.
I hope you all have a great week!
Love,
JJ

Random:
- On the 4th of July, we passed by a huge field with hundreds of Red, White, and Blue flowers! It was almost as great as the fireworks
- We had a big Ausstellung this week in Munich after our District Meeting and it was so fun!!! We had 5 companionships there in the busy street of Munich contacting as many people as we could for hours! Plus, it was a great break from dooring!
- A girl from our ward is leaving on her mission this week! She is called to serve in Russia, but Chels might need to sneak by the MTC and bring her some American candy!
- Carlos is in the shop this week so we dusted off the old bikes in our Keller!
