HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!!!!
Man, just pretend I am giving you a huge hug! Honestly, I wouldn’t
be here without you mom, I am so grateful for you!
This week man... wow! It has been quite the experience! I got a
call from President Brown mid-week (which was weird) and he said that the
England MTC is getting renovated so the group of missionaries that is coming in
is coming two weeks early! So, he broke the news to me that I will be training
a new missionary AND be in a trio for two weeks before Sister Franchino goes
home! I am pretty nervous, not gonna lie!
I have received a testimony that President Brown receives
revelation when it comes to putting companionships together as I have seen how
I needed both of my trainers. But, that faith quivered as soon as it was put to
the test! Thoughts of inadequacy filled my mind. I have been studying about
weaknesses and why in the world we have them. I have realized through my
studies how BEAUTIFUL weaknesses are and what a privilege it is to have them. I
know that makes me sound like I have gone mad, but I am serious! Our weaknesses
are just beautiful opportunities for God to show his power. Through them we can
be edified, come closer to our Heavenly Father, and witness his tender
love.
Now I just have to trust that testimony as I completely abandon
what remains of a comfort zone I had left! This is going to be crazy, but I am
sure memories will be made and I am going to grow more than I ever have before!
I love you guys! Have a great weekend celebrating Mom's
Birthday!
Love, JJ

- We were at a park waiting for a potential to come to a lesson
and just as he walked up, A BEE STUNG MY HAND! It was throbbing so bad I couldn’t
focus on my German and it was such an awkward lesson!
- We had to clean our apartment for FOREVER today in preparation
for the new missionary and I am pooped!
- My new obsession is Leberkase! It is kind of like hot dog
meat, but in the form of a hamburger and I love it!
- We had dinner with a member family today and they invited two of their Nun friends and it was seriously the most enjoyable dinner appointment ever. I have so much respect for those women!
